Welcome
The history of my Pile ancestors is centered in Lincolnshire and earlier in West Sussex with possible links to Hampshire. My great great grand- father, David Pile was born at Westbourne in West Sussex in 1826, he came to Lincolnshire in the 1840’s and lived there for the rest of his life, first at Grantham and later at Folkingham where he died in 1879.
